There’s a place in the world for every Cornell student. Undergraduate students across all colleges and majors will find study abroad programs worldwide to advance their academic and career goals, including opportunities at the new Cornell Global Hubs.   

From Ithaca to Hawaii to Ecuador, students in the Robert S. Harrison College Scholars Program in the College of Arts & Sciences took advantage of the summer as a time to explore their research interests.

The alumni Cornell Clubs of Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen and the Cornell China Center cohosted a hybrid international new student send-off. 

Academics from some of the world's top institutions will came together in August to brainstorm ideas to create more sustainable cities and communities.

On July 20th, the Cornell Club of Singapore hosted Cornell professors Gustavo Flores-Macias and Sarah Kreps.

Stephen Yale-Loehr, a Migrations faculty fellow, writes: "Since March 2020, approximately 900,000 people have been denied the ability to request asylum at all. They’re casualties of Title 42."

"The opportunity to work abroad during the summer and do research at another top university is what attracted me to the program,” said Cornell materials and engineering science student Daniel Bilezikian.

“The topics were so cutting edge, and with such a fantastic non-Western focus, they could be ripped from the headlines of any international newspaper,” said Alanna Kramerson, a Skaneateles High School history teacher.

“It does feel as though what we had in the report is just playing out in live stream when I read the news,” says Rachel Bezner Kerr, professor of global development.
