Vice provost Wendy Wolford tells Inside Higher Ed that Cornell graduate students are having trouble getting their visas—or were simply concerned about coming to the U.S.

Cornell alumni, faculty, and global experts gathered in Guangzhou for the 2024 Cornell-China Forum to discuss sustainability, aging, future cities, and education.

Global Cornell welcomed almost 100 representatives from 18 international Global Hubs partner institutions to London for the second network meeting, co-hosted by King's College London. Participants came together to exchange ideas and pave the way for collaborations and engagement to build a better world.

“To me, the ability to host scholars under threat and to work with IIE is really core to the entire mission of higher education and the mission of the university,” says Wendy Wolford, vice provost for international affairs.

The challenge’s major focus areas will be global AI, climate justice, and pandemic prevention. 

Vice provost for international affairs Wendy Wolford and a Global Cornell delegation visited Asia in April. The trip began in Seoul, South Korea, for this year's Asia-Pacific Leadership Conference before the team traveled to India to meet with Cornell alumni and partners.
