Michael Kotlikoff (now Cornell's president) and Vice Provost of International Affairs Wendy Wolford traveled to Asia in 2023. The trip included stops in Taipei, Hanoi, and Hong Kong. While in Taipei, they met with members of the Ministry of Education, President of Taiwan Tsai Ing-wen '80, and colleagues at NTU, where Cornell has 66 alumni among the faculty. The Cornell Alumni Association of Taiwan hosted a reception attended by 70 alumni, and Wolford announced the Charles, Amy, and the Tsai Family Scholarship.
