Steering Committee
Global Hubs activities, led by Global Cornell, leverage expertise across the university. The steering committee provides regular oversight and liaisons with faculty and administration within Cornell colleges and schools, while a cross-campus faculty advisory committee offers guidance and maintains direct connections with Hubs partners.

Şebnem Özkan
Global Hubs director Şebnem Özkan joined Global Cornell in January 2022 with an academic background in international and area studies and more than two decades of professional experience at federally funded European and global studies centers.
Faculty Advisors
Global Hubs faculty leads serve as ambassadors and liaisons to faculty and administration in Cornell colleges and schools. They develop and maintain relationships with partner institutions in their regions, participate in and host partner visits, facilitate faculty connections and collaborations, and oversee joint seed fund awards.
