Global Hubs Network Meeting 2026

The 2026 Global Hubs Network Meeting will bring together faculty, staff, and university leaders from across the network for two focused, interactive sessions. Building on the inaugural meeting in Ithaca in 2022 and the 2024 meeting in London, this year’s virtual gathering will reflect on what the network has accomplished—and look ahead to what partners can make possible together.

Building the Network’s Next Phase

Since the launch of Global Hubs, partners have expanded opportunities for student mobility, faculty research, collaborative learning, and broader institutional engagement. The 2026 meeting will draw on that foundation as participants consider the challenges, priorities, and opportunities shaping international higher education.

Together, participants will consider how the network can respond to challenges facing international engagement, strengthen existing collaborations, and develop new bilateral and multilateral initiatives. These conversations will help shape how we connect faculty, students, staff, and alumni across institutions.

What to Expect

The two interactive live sessions will include:

  • Highlights and perspectives of Global Hubs to date
  • Conversations about the changing landscape for international engagement
  • Stories from faculty, students, staff, and university leaders across the network
  • Facilitated discussions and breakout rooms focused on shared priorities and practical next steps
  • Opportunities to identify potential partners and develop new collaborations

Topics will include student mobility, research collaboration and funding, community-engaged learning, collaborative teaching, global democracy, global AI, women’s health, medical education, and alumni, careers, and regional engagement.

Partner Pavilion

An online Partner Pavilion, open October 15–30, will complement the live sessions with hosted networking opportunities to explore partner programs, share resources, and connect around ideas for future collaboration.
