All research stays originate in a dialogue with a receiving DTU research unit/faculty, to host the incoming researcher. We are happy to facilitate introductions if needed. It can be on an individual or topical basis (as the online workshop on sustainability). Visitors must fund themselves (e.g. through "earned" sabbaticals) or apply for external funding. For researchers on Villum Foundation funded programs Villum Investigator or Villum Young Investigator there are onboarding packages for travel also for family, this is handled by the receiving institution's HR department.
