Opportunities for visiting faculty and scholars exist across all nine Faculties at King’s. Some Faculties have dedicated pages outlining the processes; please find more details below:

  • Faculty of Arts & Humanities: appointments will usually be made for one year and bench fees will be waived for partner institutions. Please find more information here: https://www.kcl.ac.uk/artshums/visiting-appointments
  • King’s Business School: academic visitors usually stay for between one and six months (longer in exceptional circumstances). Please find more information here: https://www.kcl.ac.uk/business/research/academic-visitors
  • Dickson Poon School of Law: visitors usually stay for between three to six months. Please find more information here: https://www.kcl.ac.uk/law/research-expertise/visiting-researchers
  • Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care: appointments will usually be made for between one month and one year. A small administrative fee (£50) will be charged but bench fees will be waived for partner institutions. Please find more information here
  • For scholars wishing to visit other Faculties at King’s (Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy; Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences; Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine; Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience; Faculty of Dental, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences), faculty should identify King’s colleagues with whom they wish to collaborate, and enquire directly about the possibility of a visiting appointment.

Education collaborations are usually led by academic connections, and the Global Engagement team can help make connections for Cornell faculty wishing to partner with King’s.
