At Cornell, tenured and tenure-track faculty (full/associate/assistant professors) are able to host visiting graduate students, with department approval. Self-funded students can seek a Cornell faculty host in a related field with related research interests. After securing a willing faculty host, that professor's department will help with next steps including visa requirements and related fees.
