After the successful 2016 introduction of Navigate, the online support hub for off-campus business, Global Operations was formally established in 2018 to support and enable international projects, travel and operations; and help to mitigate risks to the university and individuals. Our goal is to provide faculty, staff, and students with the resources needed to be confident in research, teaching and engagement overseas.
Global Operations is housed within the Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs. We are a cross-functional team dedicated to providing the Cornell community with a high level of customer service and holistic solutions for operations abroad.
We partner with multiple stakeholders across campus—including Human Resources, Procurement, Tax, Office of Engagement Initiatives, Office of Global Learning, Risk Management and Insurance, the Office of University Counsel and the Office of Sponsored Programs—to help address questions and offer creative problem-solving for engaging internationally. We are responsive and readily accessible for any question, big or small.
