Executive Actions: Updates and Resources
Executive Order on Immigration into the United States
Many in our campus community are dealing with questions, concerns, and anxiety about U.S. President Trump’s January 27, 2017 executive order on immigration (including the travel ban provision suspending travel into the United States from seven countries), and the implications for student, faculty, and staff activities and our international programs.
We want to reassure you that, as Interim Cornell University President Hunter Rawlings said in his statement, we stand by all Cornellians with assistance and unwavering support.
Information for DACA Students
As Interim Cornell University President Hunter Rawlings has stated, Cornell University will continue to honor its commitments to all our current and future Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) undergraduate and graduate students.
While it is still unclear how the DACA program will be impacted by U.S. President Trump’s administration decisions, we understand that our students will be affected by pending policies. Our commitments to support our students remain firm.
